Clime board faces challenge

Clime Investment Management has announced to the Australian Securities Exchange that it will convene a general meeting after receiving communications from shareholders regarding what amounts to a board spill.
The company said that it had received a meeting requisition notice from a shareholder holding more than 5% of the votes.
It said that the notice requests that resolutions be put to appoint Peter Pynes, Benjamin Small and Simon Tan as directors of the company and that resolutions be put to remove the chair, John Abernethy, Michael Kollo, Susan Wynne and Claire Bibby.
The ASX announcement said that the company had earlier received a separate resolution requisition notice from shareholders holding more than 5% of votes requesting the removal of Ronni Chalmers as a director of the company.
The ASX announcement said the company intends to convene a general meeting to consider each of the requisitioned resolutions with details to be circulated to shareholders in due course.
