Dimensional PM moves into investment solutions role
Dimensional Fund Advisors has announced an internal personnel change, with Senior Portfolio Manager Slava Platkov moving across to the firm’s Investment Solutions Group as Senior Investment Director.
Platkov, who first joined Dimensional in 2012, will work closely across the firm’s research, portfolio management and client engagement divisions to develop and deliver tailored investment solutions for clients.
Dimensional’s country head, Bhanu Singh, said Platkov’s background in all areas of multi-manager investing, including research and portfolio construction, makes him a suitable addition to the firm’s Investment Solutions arm.
“We’ve been offering our systematic investment approach through financial intermediaries for over a quarter of century in Australia,” he said.
“Slava’s appointment deepens our commitment to how we support investment professionals in accessing our investment expertise on behalf of their clients.”
