Janus Henderson appoints new data executive

Janus Henderson Group has announced the recent appointment of U.S.-based Shoby Kelliher as the firm’s new Global Head of Enterprise Data Management.
Reporting to Global Chief Operating Officer, James Lowry, Kelliher will take the lead on developing the group data strategy, integrating it with businesses operations and managing governance and data platform processes.
Kelliher and her team will prioritise the streamlining of data within Janus Henderson to ensure it is seamlessly and simply accessed and applied by all business departments where necessary, without the burden of legacy platforms.
“In 2021, we made significant progress laying new foundations for enhanced data management across Janus Henderson,” Lowry said.
“The road ahead is about maturing our data, processes, and systems, and Shoby will be key to those efforts. Her expertise in global data management will help us ensure our data organization is able to support our firm’s continued growth and innovation.”
The appointment is the latest measure part of the multi-year effort of Janus Henderson to modernise its data infrastructure and optimise its operating structure.
