McCrum becomes UniSuper’s Head of Fixed Interest
Major industry superannuation fund, UniSuper has bolstered its in-house investment capability with the appointment of industry veteran Mathew McCrum as its Head of Fixed Interest.
The big super fund noted that McCrum had previously set up and built Vanguard Australia’s fixed interest capability and co-founded boutique fixed interest manager, Omega Global Investors.
Confirming McCrum’s appointment, UniSuper chief investment officer, John Pearce said he represented a great addition to the fund’s investment team.
“He brings a very strong fixed interest pedigree with a track record leading and developing teams,” Pearce said.
