Nanuk fund added to CFS platform

Nanuk Asset Management’s New World Fund has been added to the Colonial First State FirstChoice platform.
The strategy, which has around $640 million in funds under management (FUM), offers investors exposure to themes of environmental sustainability and resource efficiency and invests in areas such as clean energy, energy efficiency, agriculture, water, waste management, recycling and sustainable materials.
The Fund is available on all major IDPS platforms and was also quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) as an exchange traded managed fund (ETMF) in March 2022, under the ticker code NNUK.
Chief investment officer of Nanuk Asset Management, Tom King, said the inclusion on the FirstChoice platform reflected the growing demand for investments that were positively contributing to the global transition towards net-zero emissions and a more sustainable future.
King also said that his fund, which seeks to outperform broader global equities benchmarks, would allow investors to tap into sustainability related trends, including renewable energy and grid investment, vehicle electrification, sustainable packaging, healthcare technology, industrial automation, waste management and recycling.
Additionally, the next dace was expected to see the emergence of a new set of investment opportunities emerging in areas such as carbon capture and storage, sustainable agriculture and the development of a more circular economy, according to King.
