Perpetual announces Pendal integration leadership change

The woman who has been overseeing the integration of Pendal Group with Perpetual is departing Perpetual.
Perpetual has announced the Chief Integration Officer, Amanda Gazal, will be leaving the company following a transition period.
It said that Craig Squires has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer and will take an expanded role overseeing the Pendal integration.
Perpetual chief executive and managing director, Rob Adams said Gazal had been an integral member of the Executive Committee for four years.
He said the Pendal integration remained on track to deliver promised synergies.
“As we approach the midpoint of our two-year integration program, moving the integration oversight to the responsibility of our Chief Operating Officer is an important milestone and will continue to enable long-term operational decisions to deliver the full synergy target of $80 million by January 2025,” he said.
Squires is currently Deputy Chief Operating Officer having joined Perpetual in early 2022 as Chief Technology Officer.
