Investment research veteran joins Zenith to head up team

Seasoned investment research professional, Grant Kennaway, has joined Zenith Investment Partners as its new Group Head of Research commencing from 11 November.
Kennaway brings over two decades of experience in the Australian investment research, asset management and consulting space, having spent over 11 years at Lonsec in several roles including General Manager, Research and Head of Managed Funds Research, before moving on to Morningstar more recently and spending a further 11 years in executive research roles across Australia and the United States.
Reporting to Zenith Managing Director, Jason Huddy, Kennaway will spearhead the growth and delivery of the firm’s investment and superannuation fund research strategy for financial advisers and platforms across Australia.
“Grant is a highly respected executive with broad experience leading large and diverse teams. He has a passion for research and how this can be delivered to advisers and platforms, for the benefit of investors,” Huddy said.
“He also brings to the team important experience in working through regulatory and market changes, which continue to play a role in shaping the investment and super landscape for advisers and their clients.
“His depth of knowledge of the Australian market is exceptional and he will be a great asset to the business in this pivotal role and a strong complement to the existing team of seasoned analysts within the group.”
Kennaway will across both the Zenith and Chant West brands, leading a team of 20 based out of Melbourne.
