APRA confirms life insurance, superannuation head replacement

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has confirmed Jane Magill will succeed Carmen Beverley-Smith as Executive Director, Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance and Superannuation (LPHIS) in the wake of her “immediate” departure from the role.
Currently the Executive Director, General Insurance and Banking (GIB), Magill will move into the other role from 16 February, with current banking general manager, Peter Diamond, elevated to the executive director role in an acting capacity while a recruitment search is undertaken.
The regulator also confirmed acting Executive Director LPHIS, Peter Kolhagen, will remain in the role until it is assumed by Magill in February.
