GCI adds senior recruit to just-launched RE team

Global Credit Investments (GCI) has announced a new addition to its growing real estate capital solutions team, with Robert Grajczyk joining as investment director.
As part of the new role, Grajczyk will be focused on “spearheading risk analysis, overseeing deal execution, and driving growth and uptake of the real estate strategy” for the recently launched team.
Grajczyk joins from alternative and property investment specialist Wingate, where he served as a senior analyst for a little over two years. He also previously held analyst roles at Metrics Credit Partners and Deloitte Australia.
Commenting on the firm’s latest senior recruit, managing director David Stone recognised Grajczyk’s “deep experience in the mid-market property sector, having executed nearly $1 billion in transactions with no capital losses”.
This, Stone added, makes Grajczyk a “natural and strategic fit for the team”, noting the real estate platform’s “significant growth potential”.
“Our real estate proposition requires unique perspectives to craft solutions for clients that typically fall outside traditional banking criteria.
“With over eight years in financial services and property finance, Robert brings an extensive skillset and a shared value in helping clients achieve transformative business outcomes”.
GCI’s real estate team, launched only last October, is focused primarily on facilitating six to 24-month bridge loans that do not involve construction. This includes refinancing, property and business acquisitions, development approvals, bridging finance and equity releases.
Gavin Solsky, GCI managing director and co-founder, said the firm’s newly launched and growing real estate division is key to building out its overarching credit offering.
“We are continuing to see a demand for creative lending solutions as traditional lenders scale back and borrowers face increased restrictions,” Solsky said.
“Our offering is distinctive in that our team works closely with borrowers through every step of the transaction to craft a bespoke solution to meet their requirements.”
Founded in early 2015, GCI specialises in private credit solutions, offering three core financing solutions: asset backed finance, real estate and strategic capital.
