Figures walk down tunnel to light

Seventy-three per cent of financial advisers who sat the financial adviser exam in August passed, according to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

ASIC said that 205 candidates sat the August exam with 150 passing in circumstances where 72% of candidates were sitting the exam for the first time.

ASIC said that, to date, 20,718 individual candidates had sat the exam and that over 19,172 or 92% of candidates have passed.

The next exam will be held on 9 November, with enrolments closing on 20 October.

Is the exam still being written to trick, and deceive. To eliminate. Or written in a style 95% of people are used to that being to test and educate. What’s the acceptable suicide rate with this style of exam?

A Pass or Fail result is totally wrong and the Industry Associations have done absolutely sweet nothing to address this non-sensical authoritarian tactic to slaughter the Advice Industry. I did the exam numerous times and the questions changed each time to confuse us and hence, I am no longer an Adviser in Financial Planning. Suicide and Mental Health issues have never been exposed but should be.
