AMAFA adds six advisers in national expansion drive

Boutique financial advice licensee Australian Mortgage and Financial Advisers (AMAFA) has expanded its national footprint by appointing six advisers so far this year across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The Brisbane-based dealer group said on Tuesday that the new appointments span a range of specialisations, including risk advice, retirement planning and cross-border financial advice.
AMAFA national operations manager Mario Finocchiaro said the firm is attracting experienced professionals committed to building quality advice businesses.
“We believe they are the kind of advisers who will help shape the future of the industry,” he said. “We look forward to working with them and supporting the continued growth of their businesses, including connecting them with their peers at our annual conference in Hobart this July.”
Among the new appointees, Melbourne-based Daniel Collins joins AMAFA from Poppyred as one of a select group of advisers authorised to provide financial advice in both Australia and the UK, specialising in UK pension consolidation and transfers for British expats living in Australia.
Nadia O’Sullivan of Quest Insurance and Financial Solutions joins the Queensland team, bringing experience shaped by her migration from Guilin, China, and an understanding of the challenges migrants face when adapting to a new financial system.
Queensland’s intake further includes Daniel Judge of MADD Life, who specialises in strategic financial planning for young families, and Reid Menkens of Menkens Financial Group, who brings 25 years of experience in personal and financial advice.
In Victoria, Peter Tribolet joins from Foundation Financial Advice, bringing extensive experience in retirement and wealth planning, while NSW-based Terry Chudleigh of Inteplan Financial Solutions adds more than 30 years of experience in financial services.
Finocchiaro said further appointments are in the pipeline with several progressing through onboarding discussions.
