HUB24 launches CPD-based SMSF Academy

Platform business HUB24 has launched an online continuing professional development (CPD) capability in the form of an SMSF Academy.
The company said the capability would be delivered via HUB24’s Professional Development Centre and is aimed at meeting rising demand for specialist self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) advice.
SMSF Association chief executive, Peter Burgess said feedback from SMSF specialist advisers indicated current members are not keeping up with the growing demands of the sector.
“Having access to CPD accredited resources such as HUB24’s SMSF Academy contributes to enhancing education standards among finance professionals,” he sid.
The announcement said that as part of HUB24’s commitment to supporting the next generation of advisers through education, Modules 1 and 2 of the SMSF Academy will also be made available to Striver students.
It said these SMSF resources complemented HUB24’s Managed Portfolio Academy, which has been available as a course through Striver since 2023
