Sequoia Financial Group has named former Synchronised Business Services state manager, Bernie Fernandes, as its State Manager for Western Australia and South Australia.
Perth-based Fernandes will be responsible for managing and driving the growth of Sequoia’s advice community in WA and SA and brings four decades of experience, expertise and established relationships through his career in financial services and client management.
“Bernie’s knowledge, integrity, and passion to provide superior outcomes for his clients is a great match for Sequoia and he will definitely add to the culture and growth of the group in those states”, Garry Crole, Managing Director and CEO of Sequoia, said.
“Sequoia is committed to expansion of services to advisers, AFSL holders and the accounting industry in this region and Bernie’s appointment reflects the group’s commitment to the WA and SA advice network and providing professional and accessible value to the advice community.”
Fernandes said he is pleased to commence the new role in January and is committed to growing the advice opportunities available in WA and SA.
