Swanson exits Centrepoint
The chair of publicly-listed financial planning group, Centrepoint Alliance, Simon Swanson has resigned effective immediately.
The company has announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) that Swanson will also end his period as a director effective from 31 January.
He is being succeeded as chair by Georg Chmiel who was previous chair of the Group Audit Risk and Compliance Committee and was co-founder and chair of Juwai-IQI Holdings, the largest proptech group in South East Asia.
Commenting on the changes, Chmiel thanked Swanson for his significant contribution noting the successful acquisition and integration of the ClearView Advice business as well s Financial Advice Matters.
“During Simon’s term, CAF has grown its adviser network by ovr 60%, delivering financial advice solutions to more Australians,” he said.
