HUB24 appoints new chairman
HUB24 has announced it has elected Paul Rogan, non-executive director, as its new chairman, following the retirement of Bruce Higgins.
Rogan has served as a non-executive director since 2017 holding the position of Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and also as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
He has extensive executive experience and served in several senior roles at MLC, National Australia Bank (NAB) and Challenger Group.
Rachel Grimes, who joined HUB24 board as non-executive director earlier this year, will be appointed as Chair of the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee upon Rogan moving into the role of Chair of the Board.
Higgins has notified the board of his intention to take a career break for six months, and as a consequence to retire from the HUB24 board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting in November.
He has served as a chairman since October, 2012, and commenting on his retirement, he said: “It has been a great pleasure to work with the talented team at HUB24 during this period of strong growth in the business as funds under administration increased from $150 million to now over $80 billion, and revenue has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 62% over the past decade.
“Additionally, the HUB24 platform is now recognised by both the industry and advisers as Australia’s best platform.”
