Platform company, Netwealth, has brought a new targeted wholesale offering to market designed to assist advisers in catering to the specialist and ‘complex’ wealth needs of high net worth (HNW), ultra high net worth (UHNW) and sophisticated investors.

Netwealth Private offers a bespoke dashboard tailored to the ‘sophisticated whole-of-wealth’ needs of wholesale investors, bringing together access to wholesale managed funds, private markets, bonds, structured products and derivatives as well as consolidated reporting and administration across family and entity arrangements.

It also offers flexibility for investors to choose how their assets are held and managed, whether they are traded through preferred brokers and held in custody or held under an individual HIN.

With the solution housed within Netwealth’s existing platform, advisers can expand their own capabilities for clients via the same central system and infrastructure but with the added benefit of integrated portfolio, performance and tax reporting and a branded digital experience.

Netwealth’s chief executive and Managing Director, Matt Heine, said the launch of the offering comes as Australia’s HNW segment grows to more than $4 trillion in investable assets, according to data collected by Investment Trends.

“As wealth grows, complexity grows with it. Clients and advisers need more than access to investments; they need infrastructure that brings visibility, choice and control across entities, family groups and generations,” he said.

“Netwealth Private is designed for that reality. It extends our platform into a strategically important segment with a solution purpose-built for wholesale clients and their advisers, building on our deliberate, multi-year investment in private wealth and stockbroking capabilities, including individual HIN functionality.

“The next phase of wealth management will be led by platforms that combine technology, trust and adviser enablement in a way that reduces complexity, not adds to it.

“That is where Netwealth will continue to differentiate, through product breadth, disciplined execution and governance, and a client-led approach to innovation across both retail and private wealth.”

The launch of the Netwealth offering follows in the wake of a similar wholesale solution introduced by fellow platform HUB24 last April, with HUB24 Private Invest already surpassing $1 billion in funds under administration (across custodial and non-custodial assets) to 30 June 2026 according to the firm’s latest announcement to the ASX.
