Airlie founder John Sevior announces retirement

Magellan Financial Group has announced that the founder of Airlie Funds Management, John Sevior will be retiring in June.
The company told the Australian Securities Exchange today that Sevior would be retiring after a 30 year career as one of the most respect portfolio managers of Australian equities.
It said Sevior was leaving Airlie in a strong position having developed a highly capable team.
The announcement said Sevior’s portfolio management responsibilities would be transitioned to Matt Williams who would become Airlie’s head of Australian Equities working with Emma Fisher as deputy head.
