Formica joins HUB24 board

The chair of Magellan Financial Group, Andrew Formica, has been appointed as a non-executive director of platform business, HUB24.
HUB24 announced Formica’s appointment to the Australian Securities Exchange yesterday stating that it will become effective from 1 July.
It noted that Formica has more than 30 years’ experience across capital markets and funds management, including over 15 years as Chief Executive Officer leading complex organisations across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and Australia.
Formica is currently Chair of Magellan and is non-executive director of Barrenjoey Pty Ltd and Vinva Holdings. He was previously chief executive of Jupiter Asset Management, and co-chief executive of Janus Henderson Investors.
Commenting on Formica’s appointment, HUB24 chair, Paul Rogan welcomed his extensive experience in leading complex organisations.
