Centuria hires private capital duo to court wealthy investors

Centuria Capital Group has recruited two senior private capital executives as the ASX-listed property fund manager intensifies its push into Australia’s growing family office and high-net-worth market.
The $21.8 billion manager on Tuesday announced the hiring of Gracian Marando and Crystal Wang to its distribution team, where they will focus on the scaling of its private capital platform across New South Wales and Queensland.
Centuria’s head of distribution Ben Harrop said the appointments would strengthen the group’s relationships with family offices and affluent investors along the east coast.
“We warmly welcome Gracian and Crystal to the Centuria team and believe their vast experience will be a credit to our expanding investor network, which totals more than 11,000 clients nationwide,” Harrop said.
“In particular, their expertise will focus on developing Centuria’s NSW and QLD family office and HNW networks where we see growing opportunities.”
Marando joins the group after more than two decades in property and private capital markets, with experience distributing investment opportunities across real assets, private debt and capital markets to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth investors.
His previous roles included positions at Westpac, National Australia Bank, Colliers International and Origin Energy.
Wang also brings more than 20 years of experience working across private and institutional capital markets. She began her career as an actuary and equity research analyst with global financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Nomura Securities and ING Life before moving into the property sector across commercial and residential markets, both listed and unlisted.
She has held senior positions at Dexus, Centennial Property Group and Link Marketing, where she worked across capital raising, investor strategy and stakeholder engagement.
