Genium’s Tim Murphy recruits former Morningstar colleague
Genium Investment Partners co-chief executive, Tim Murphy, has relinked with his former Morningstar colleague Tim Wong who is joining Genium as Senior Analyst – Research.
Genium announced Wong’s recruitment this week saying he would play a key role in the growth of research and ratings coverage across all sectors.
The Genium announcement noted that Wong has more than 20 years’ experience, most recently as Director of Morningstar’s manager research team.
Wong said he was delighted to re-team with Murphy.
Murphy said that with the firm’s first ratings now live in the market, it was great to add further to the team.
“His expertise in fixed interest is especially sought after in the market, and we’re thrilled to be able to attract someone of Wong’s talent to Genium to help drive the growth of our research ratings coverage,” he said.
