Lonsec portfolios added to BT Panorama

Lonsec’s suite of managed portfolios, including sustainable portfolios for investors seeking investment strategies that align with environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations, are now available on a BT Financial Group platform.
Added to the BT Panorama platform, Lonsec introduced the Sustainable portfolios as a response to the growing investor demand for responsible investment solutions. The Balanced, Growth and High Growth risk profiles focus on the approach and integration of ESG factors and the implementation of sustainability measures that reflect the funds’ positive impact on the world.
Lonsec assesses the funds against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework to measure their contribution to society and the environment. Lonsec observes the activities of the companies held in the fund and compares them to the positive contributions of the SDGs and the impact of negative exposures.
Deanne Baker, Portfolio Manager for Lonsec’s Sustainable portfolios, said the funds have been progressing well against their benchmark and when measured up to the SDGs.
“The Sustainable portfolios now have close to a 12-month track record and, not only have they outperformed the benchmark over the last six and nine months, but they have also made positive contributions across a number of the SDGs including SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 3 Good Health and Well Being, and SDG 1 No Poverty.”
“With the addition of our Sustainable portfolios on BT Panorama, we are thrilled to offer an investment solution that aligns with the goals of our clients in conjunction with having a positive impact on the planet.”
