Praemium brings cross-border fund solution to HNW platform

Financial advisers using Praemium’s Spectrum platform for high net worth (HNW) clients will have access to a new suite of investment options via the incorporation of Clearstream’s Vestima platform.
The Vestima platform boasts a global distribution partner network and provides custody services for over 245,000 funds across 55 global markets, amounting to approximately €4 trillion in assets under custody.
Users of Praemium’s Spectrum platform will not only have the opportunity to tap into “previously out of reach” international investment options, but also leverage the streamlined and simplified processes offered by Vestima including the administration of global assets, reduced operational friction and enhanced portfolio construction flexibility.
“This integration will provide a significant advantage for advisers seeking to differentiate their offering,” James Edmonds, Praemium’s Chief Operating Officer, said.
“Praemium is ahead of the curve as one of the only platforms in Australia to offer this capability through Vestima, and it reflects our commitment to innovation and delivering best-in-class solutions.”
The Vestima platform will also assist in the OneVue client migration, following the acquisition last year, by transitioning selected funds.
“Vestima delivers secure, efficient execution and custody, backed by Clearstream’s trusted global infrastructure,” Ravi Subramaniam, CEO of Clearstream Australia Limited, said.
“Its integration into Praemium’s platform streamlines access to international funds for Australian advisors, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the growth of cross-border fund distribution and operational excellence.”
