Cassin returns to bfinance as global head

Former bfinance senior executive, Olivier Cassin, has returned to the investment consultancy firm as its new global Head of Investments and Research.
The company said this is the latest in a string of strategic appointments since it completed its management buyout of the remaining 51 per cent stake formerly held by Baird Capital in February.
Having previously worked for bfinance from 2000 to 2014, London-based Cassin will be responsible for managing the firm’s global research activities and building teams across all asset classes, portfolio design, ESG advisory, risk analytics, monitoring and fee benchmarking. He will also lead bfinance’s product innovation pipeline, support business growth and nurture existing services.
“I am pleased to welcome Olivier back into the bfinance family,” David Vafai, Chief Executive Officer at bfinance, said.
“He was pivotal in our early expansion, and it is a privilege to once again be able work with him in this exciting new post-MBO phase.”
In between his time spent at bfinance, Cassin was most recently Head of EMEA Client Solutions and previously managed the UK and European institutional sales team at BNY Mellon.
