Federation Asset Management acquires Homesafe

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has exited its relationship with equity release business, Homesafe Solutions, with the business being acquired by Federation Asset Management.
Federation announced that it had acquired 100% of the share capital of Homesafe Solutions Pty Ltd with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank exiting and with Federation “and a big four Australian bank” funding the business beyond acquisition.
The announcement said that former Resimac chief executive, Mary Ploughman, will chair the board including several non-executive directors including representatives from Federation and Dianne Shepherd who has been appointed to the board as managing director.
Shepherd has been with the business for 18 years and is currently Chief Operating Officer.
