Hartley to exit AMP

AMP has announced key executive changes, including the role of chief executive, Australian Wealth Management being removed as part of a transition to a new operating model with Scott Hartley leaving the business later this year.
The company has announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) that the changes to the executive structure follow the sale of the AMP Capital business and the company’s focus on banking and wealth management.
IT said the role of chief executive, Australian Wealth Management would be removed with a transition to a new operating model to occur at the end of the year with the AWM business being dissolved.
Blair Vernon has been appointed to the consolidated roles of Chief Financial Officer and Group Executive Transformation with Peter Fredricson retiring as CFO.
