Super, investment platform borne out of Centrepoint, FNZ collab
The long-awaited launch of Centrepoint Alliance’s IconiQ platform covering superannuation and investment was confirmed on Wednesday, in partnership with global wealth management platform, FNZ.
As Centrepoint Alliance’s foray into the platform space, IconiQ offers financial advisers a suite of investment vehicles including managed funds, managed accounts, direct shares, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and term deposits, with the ease of flexible account structures and in-depth portfolio and tax reporting capabilities.
Its Super Wrap solution also offers an “end-to-end superannuation experience” across the accumulation phase, transition into retirement and pension.
According to Centrepoint Alliance chief executive, John Shuttleworth, IconiQ presents an “intuitive” user interface that boosts efficiency for financial advisers when it comes to managing their client’s superannuation and investment portfolios; the platform also boasts “advanced features” and a “competitive pricing structure”.
“In developing IconiQ, we have ensured that advisers have access to one of the highest quality investment management and portfolio administration solutions at highly competitive prices,” Shuttleworth said.
“As an ‘open architecture’ solution provider, we are committed to providing a choice of platforms and investment managers. We strive to ensure that clients achieve the best after-fee returns without paying excessive fees for portfolio administration.
“Leveraging our scale and expertise, we are proud to offer a globally leading platform solution.”
The IconiQ platform leverages the digital platform and cloud technology capabilities of FNZ, which currently administers over AUD$2 trillion in assets for over 650 corporate clients across more than 30 countries.
“FNZ is delighted to have delivered the IconiQ platform in partnership with Centrepoint,” Tim Neville, FNZ’s Group Head of Asia Pacific, said.
“IconiQ is a state-of-the-art platform which will empower advisers with the tools and capabilities they need to grow and deliver for their clients.
“FNZ is proud to partner with Centrepoint to bring this innovative product to market and continue to drive personalised and efficient investment solutions across the wealth management sector in Australia.”
Centrepoint also unveiled a new registered managed investment scheme (MIS) to provide separately managed account (SMA) solutions, IconiQ SMA. This would provide financial advisers with a range of managed account portfolios developed by other fund managers and asset consultants via the IconiQ Super Wrap and IconiQ Investment platform.
