Zurich upgrades adviser portal to boost efficiency

Zurich Financial Services Australia has upgraded its adviser portal to automate sum insured increases for eligible life insurance policies, eliminating a manual process it says remains common across the industry.
The firm announced on Tuesday that the upgraded portal can now automatically import all quote and customer details when an adviser requests a sum insured change and remove the need to complete a full new business application.
Zurich head of retail Tim Kane said the upgrade was a direct response to adviser demand for greater efficiency.
“Zurich’s Adviser Portal has continually been recognised as a leading solution by advisers. A key reason for this is our ongoing investment in evolving the platform in response to their needs,” Kane said.
Kane added the changes would reduce administrative work for financial advisers and speed up policy changes.
“By removing the manual burden from sum insured changes, which still exists across most other portals industry-wide, advisers can spend less time on admin and more time focusing on their clients’ needs,” he said.
